We are delighted to be able to offer a new 200 hour Yin Yoga training at the brand new Chalet 715 in Chamonix, France. This brand new course is the perfect extension to the classic yoga teacher training for any students who are interested in the gentler pace of Yin.
Devised with and facilitated by senior teacher Jess Dezaux - who many past graduates will have met already - we have come together to offer an inspiring and in-depth training programme designed to advance both your teaching skills and personal practice of Yin Yoga.
We will also be joined on the course by a dear friend and brilliant acupuncturist Sean Cleere, who will be with us to talk about Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Elements theory and meridian lines.
Now hugely popular the world over, Yin Yoga has a unique and profound effect on the body, encouraging mobility, flexibility, and inner stillness. Through continuous practice, we create space for self-enquiry, connection and healing.
The full course delivers the complete Yoga Teacher Training, with the addition of practical skills in teaching Yin Yoga and how to incorporate elements of Yin into regular classes.
This is an 200+ hour course that demands that each student shows up willing to grow, change and be open to the possibility of finding ones true dharma or purpose in life.
The structure will be the same as a normal 200 hour yoga teacher training course, with the addition of Saturdays and Sundays specialising in Yin. Wednesday will be the day off. See the classic 200 hour course content here.

Jess has been teaching Yin for 10 years under the direction of Bernie Clarke. Furthering her studies in yogic philosophy, massage, ayurveda and Bhuddist studies, Jess has taken the essence of these teachings and developed a style of Yin teaching designed to shift and challenge the practitioner to deepen their experience of yoga. Through her numerous workshops and immersions, she has ascertained a diverse and extensive portfolio of Yin knowledge and now dedicates much of her practice and trainings towards a Yin style that facilitates transformation and deep healing.
Mariza has been teaching teachers since 2014 and finds her greatest joy seeing others acquire the skills to go and sprinkle yoga love around the world. For Mariza, the essential life elements of inspiration and motivation lie in pushing limits, learning new skills and bringing people together to further their own journeys of self discovery.
New, exciting and challenging the Mariza Yoga team cannot wait to begin this journey into Yin
TT with Mariza is not only about learning Asana and how to teach yoga,
it is far beyond that - for me it was an initiation to learning to live
my yoga. Mariza is incredibly patient and compassionate which makes you
feel secure and safe in challenging situations and gives you space to
grow and learn at your own pace.
Mariza's online YTT, gave us a sense of community and support. Although through a screen we managed to create a family, of like minded people who share a passion for yoga. Mariza's in depth and excellent way with words helped guide us through the asanas and grasp a deep understanding of the importance of safety, finding aligment within ourselves and how to portray this to our students.
But even more importantly, how to be kind to ourselves, and listen to our bodies and at the same time creating a safe space for us to be vulnerable and trust. I had initially wanted to do YTT in November but with Covid-craziness forcing us to slow down and stop, this experience gave me freedom, where I'd otherwise of felt trapped and out of control. It's an experience I'll never forget.
The scariest things in life are usually the hardest things to do, yet are the most rewarding. If you're thinking of the idea of online YTT, stop thinking and put your trust in mariza, it's an experience you won't forget.
The online TT course allowed me to fulfil my dream of becoming a yoga teacher whilst also looking after my 2 small children at home. For anyone who needs a more flexible course structure than the classic 3 weeks onsite intensive course this works very well! I highly recommend this course.
Mariza is an inspiring teacher. She eloquently combines yoga philosophy and practice with scientific explorations of anatomy and physiology. I found Yoga Teacher Training to be far more fulfilling than I ever could have imagined. In learning with Mariza, I not only deepened my practice, awareness, and mindfulness but also found a deeper sense of self. Additionally, Mariza was able to magically transform this course to be conducted via Zoom. She is incredibly kind and patient and ensures everyone is learning even with this new online environment. She built a community for aspiring yoga teachers Zooming-in from across the world. I feel very grateful and excited to know that I've accomplished one of my personal goals during this challenging time. YTT provides the space to learn, grow, and reflect.
Thank you Mariza!
