In Haute Provence the town of Riez la Romaine, in a dip of the Plateau de Valensole, near to both the the Ste Croix lake and to the Gorges of the Verdon, not far from Durance, you find the domain of des Mille Fleurs, an old 17th century country house between lawns and orchards, surrounded by hillocks of oaks and lavander, an altitude of 500m.
